Neither Firefox, Internet Explorer, or Chrome has ever been particularly good at capturing all of the detail on a web page. If you simply try to write the web page to a PDF, much information, particularly background images will be lost. So for example for a web page like this:

Chrome will generate a PDF like this if the option for background graphics is selected:

. . . and like this if this option is left unchecked:

Firefox will create a PDF that looks like this:

Microsoft's new Edge browser contains a 'web capture' option in the File menu.

This will give you the option to save the web page as a jpeg which will perfectly capture the look of the web page. Open the jpeg in MS Paint, and then use the scaling option under File . . . Page Setup to fit the jpeg on more than one page.

The Tip of the Night for May 28, 2021 discussed tracking 'landspeed' violations, when the same user logins from two different locations which are far apart. Relativity's Security Center can help an admin monitor such suspicious logins. The Security Center generates a map showing all of the logins that have taken place for the past 7 days.

You can drill down to more geographically specific information, by clicking on any circle. The circles will be color coded in order to show the security method used for the login. So password only logins will be in red circles, and logins using 2FA will be in green.

At the lowest level, the map will show the user login and IP address.

CaseViewNet is widely used by reporters to provide a reattime feed to their transcript during depositions and trials. A link will be distributed by a reporter to the caseview.net site which should function normally on most computers, and in most browsers. However, antivirus software, and other computer configurations may prevent the web-based version of the transcript from streaming. You will be able to successfully log on, but when you do there will be a blank screen:

If this happens to you, look in the URL for the session code, and the password. For example:

Then download the CaseView application. Once it's installed, on the toolbar, press 'Connect' on the toolbar:

Click next, and then create a connection in the next step of the wizard by entering the session code:

. . . accept the default options and then click Next again to enter the password:

You will get the same streaming transcript which is available on the web.
