Options for Analytics Indexes

Relativity Analytics conceptual indexes can be used for concept searching; keyword expansion; categorization; finding similar documents; and clustering. Note that there two types of Analytics indexes:

A conceptual Analytics index employs Latent Semantic Indexing. The indexing processes relies on the co-occurrence of terms in the documents themselves.

If the admin selects a classification Analytics index, Relativity will use a Support Vector Machine to create an index that is not only based on the contents of the documents but coding decisions made during Active Learning. Active Learning is essentially technology assisted review - reviewers code documents for relevance and in turn are fed documents more likely to be relevant to the reviewers.
