Enabling Sampling and Pivot on Objects in Relativity

Even if you're quite experienced working in Relativity workspaces you may make the mistake of assuming that sampling and pivot charts are automatically available for all objects in the workspace. It is quite common not just for Documents, but for other workspace objects such as the Data Tracker to have the familiar Pivot and Sampling icons visible in the upper right just below the child tab strip. Make special note however that these features can be disabled. If they have been disabled you will not see them grayed out - they will just be absent.

In order to enable them you need to go to Administration . . . Object Type and edit the object on which you want them to appear. If the object is a locked application you will have to unlock it first.

Note that as shown in the screen grab below you can also disable or enable the mass operation to save items to a list.
