Windows Whiteboard

Don't miss that in Windows 10 you can easily bring up a whiteboard app, by pressing the Windows key + W. Images and PDF documents can be added to the whiteboard:

Annotations can then be made on the whiteboard, highlighting text, adding notes, and drawing shapes.

You can then invite others to edit the whiteboard.

terminate individual processes of programs

The Tip of the Night for June 26, 2019, discussed how to use the tasklist command to generate a list of all programs running in Windows. This command will also generate PID numbers which correspond to the multiple processes operating in programs. You can use the taskkill command to terminate individual processes without shutting down the entire programs. Write the command as:

taskkill /PID #### /F

Don't miss that MS Office comes with a tool named Spreadsheet Compare. It can be used to not only detect differences between two workbooks, but also analyze each file and find where formula, macros, and edit protection are present.
