In RelOne, the process for creating an analytics index has been simplified. It’s no longer necessary to input information in eight fields in order to set up a search index. Instead on the Analytics tab under the Indexing and Analytics sub tab, select the option to create a new index:

  1. Name the index.

  2. Select a searchable set.

3. Give the index an order number.

Also confirm which server you want the index to be assigned to. It will not be necessary to select a training set or set it to optimize as in earlier versions of Relativity. Additional options are present under the Advanced settings, including a yes/no option to remove email signatures or footers.

It’s still possible to set repeated content filters.

The concept is that creating a search index shouldn’t require expert knowledge of Relativity. Set it and then populate it.

Relativity analytics includes a new tool called dial visualization that can help you get a quick overview of how documents are coded in a workspace.

Begin by selecting the Cluster visualizations dashboard.

ree

Right click on a cluster and select 'View Dial'.

ree

The relative proportion of each cluster will be easier to discern on the dial. The top level clusters will be arranged along the inner ring.

ree

Clicking on a widget on the dashboard linked to clusters will cause the dial to update. So in this example if the documents tagged hot in the pie chart are clicked, the dial will update to correspondingly shade those clusters which contain more documents that are coded hot.

ree

Clicking on an individual cluster will drill down to greater detail for a cluster.

ree

If you right click, you will have the option to switch to the nearby cluster view. Here, it's possible to pinpoint clusters which are not similarly coded to the cluster you have focused on.

ree

It's possible to remove the condition placed on the visualization by clicking on the drop down menu at the upper left:

The Tip of the Night for May 28, 2021 discussed tracking 'landspeed' violations, when the same user logins from two different locations which are far apart. Relativity's Security Center can help an admin monitor such suspicious logins. The Security Center generates a map showing all of the logins that have taken place for the past 7 days.

ree

You can drill down to more geographically specific information, by clicking on any circle. The circles will be color coded in order to show the security method used for the login. So password only logins will be in red circles, and logins using 2FA will be in green.

At the lowest level, the map will show the user login and IP address.
