While Relativity allows coding decisions to be propagated on certain kinds of documents . . .

. . . it is not recommended that coding decisions be propagated on near duplicates, or that decisions in the responsiveness field be propagated. While one email in a thread may be non-responsive, others may be responsive. Additional evidence is needed to confirm that a near duplicate should be coded the same way as the principal document.
