Opening dBase files

If you try to use Access to open dBase files keep in mind that it may not display all of the data visible in the native dBase software.

The Archives New Zealand Visual Rendering Matters report on the problems of rendering files designed for older programs in newer software shows how the indication of variations in the field size are lost when the file is opened in Access.
