Speedy VM Ware

Remote desktops connections have improved markedly in the past 5 or 6 years.Back in 2011 my mouse moved like molasses in citrix and downloading data to the local host was very time consuming.

My current VM Ware Remote Desktop can copy 4 GBs to my local hard drive in only 15 minutes, faster than my robust Toshiba Satellite will copy the same data (2000 + files) to a flash drive

VM Ware finds not just local drives and USB connected external drives but also printers connected to the host allowing large print jobs to be sent without significant delay.

All of this makes working off site far less of a hassle than it once was.
