Getting Hash Value of a Physical Drive


Using FTK Imager, you can generate a hash value for a complete physical drive. After going to File . . . Add Evidence Item and selecting a physical drive, right click on it the Evidence Tree. Select Verify Disk / Image:

. . . FTK Imager will generate both MD5 and SHA1 hash values.
