LAW - working with Images and Native Files

LAW includes an option in the Edit menu to split documents not only by bar code slip sheets, but also by blank pages.

The blank page option can be configured to detect either entirely clean white pages, pages with a little or a lot of speckles, or pages with a single line of text.

In the Tools menu, the 'Extract ED Page Counts' will not necessarily give you a correct page count of each native file. The guide to LAW notes that some source applications can't provide a page count without sending the file to a printer.

LAW does not provide an option to transfer the time zones of native files when they are written to PDF or TIFF images. The guide suggests resetting the time zone of the operating system to that of the native files if you want the values of the images to be the same.
