Download the Free Alternative to Adobe Photoshop

I used an old version of Adobe Photoshop for many years and got familiar with its basic features. The old program files from the late 1990's wouldn't operate on a version of Windows 7 upgraded to the 64 bit optoin. So I downloaded GIMP from this site: http://www.gimp.org/downloads/

The GIMP image editing application is freeware which contains all of the same tools as the old version of Photoshop I worked with for may years. I'm sure a graphics design professional would be able to point out some of the shortcomings of this free applicatoin vis-a-vis Photoshop, but I didn't notice the difference.

If your firm or business would cover the cost for an Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop license, download GIMP tonight!
