Another Iteration of the Iterative Process

Ralph Losey is a partner at a law firm in Orlando who is well known for his published writings on electronic discovery and for promoting predictive coding, or Technology Assisted Review. On his site edbp.com he has posted an alternate version of the EDRM which uses terms that may have more meaning for the average attorney. The version I have included below lists the steps to be performed at each stage. It would be my guess that the average associate at most Big Law firms has not heard of the EDRM. Terms like 'Preservation' and 'Analysis' may see pretty vague to someone without a background in e-discovery. Familiarize yourself with this schematic and use it as guide when discussing the electronic discovery process with lawyers.
