It's important that everyone in the e-discovery mean the same thing when they use terms like 'accuracy', 'bulk coding', 'control set', or 'precision'. A partner at Wachtell Lipton and a professor of computer science have partnered to prepare a glossary of key terms used in Technology Assisted Review. The glossary is posted on the EDRM web site: http://www.edrm.net/resources/glossaries/grossman-cormack . Their effort is endorsed by Judge Facciola of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia, the author of several important electronic discovery related decisions. The glossary is meant to function as a 'wiki' and be updated as TAR technology evolves.
