Sometimes you just want to make sure your Windows clipboard is clear. Why leave evidence behind that the next person using a computer can easily uncover?

In Windows 7, simply run this command to clear out anything on your clipboard:

echo off|clip


 
 

You can use the Windows CONVERT command from FAT (File Allocation Table) to NTFS (New Technology File System), but not the other way around. See the the screen grab below.

The NTFS system has security and compression features that are not available in FAT

Don't miss out on the fact that you can sort text files use the Windows command SORT.

Simply enter command prompt in the folder with your text and enter this command followed by the file name. A file like this:

. . . will be sorted this way, with the /r operator giving you a reverse sort.

. . .you can write the results to a text file by ending the command with: >results.txt
