The All Tabs Helper add-on for FireFox lets you search for strings across all open tabs in the web browser. After installing the add-on, click on the blue letter A icon in the tool bar at the top of the browser.

You’ll see you have the option to click on search on the right. If you enter a search term, the tabs on which the term appears will be listed below. Click on the name of any one tab to get a list of the search hits in context.

There's a great library of bookmarklets located at https://www.squarefree.com/bookmarklets/pagelinks.html

These are designed to work in both Firefox and Internet Explorer. Jesse Ruderman's bookmarklets include those which can open all links on a given web page.

Remember you just need to drag a bookmarklet up onto your browser toolbar, and then click on it in order for it to function.

Make sure that you have protected mode selected in Internet Explorer, so software can't be installed without your consent. In order for Protected Mode to be an option you have to go into in User Account Control settings (just type in UAC at Start) and confirm that it is not set to Never Notify.

Then in IE just go to Tools . . . Internet Options and select the Security tab.

Check off the 'Enable Protected Mode' box.
