You can find all hyperlinks in a Word document by following these steps.
1. Press ALT + F9 to reveal the codes for the hyperlinks
2. Go to Find and type in ^d , then select Highlight All under the Reading Highlight menu.
3. Choose Find In . . . Main Document.
Simply press CTRL + C. All of the links in the document will be copied to the clipboard.
The Free Law Project is a non--profit organization that has assembled an archive of all of the free court orders and opinions available on PACER. The RECAP archive allows you to search by case names, docket numbers, and several other fields. See: https://www.courtlistener.com/recap/ .
The archive is updated on a daily basis.
One of the really neat things about the archive is that it allows you to run a full text search through all of the posted decisions. This is something that the to the best of my knowledge PACER doesn't allow you to do. You can search through the text of federal filings with Lexis Courtlink, but this requires a paid account.
Don't miss the some of the options in the Find tool for MS Word - which haven't always been there.
To the lower right, you'll find options to match prefixes and suffixes. So if you check the former, and enter 'core' in the 'Find what' box, if will find the words, 'corepower' and 'Corey', but not 'hardcore'.
The options for 'Ignore punctuation characters' and 'Ignore white-space characters' will allow you to find a phrase such as, "Now is the time. For all good men.", when searching for, "Now is the time for all good men".
