Getting around the 255 character file path limit in Windows 10

You can get around the 255 character limit on file paths  in Windows 10 by making a change in Registry Editor.  

Go to this location:

 

\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\FileSystem

 

. . . and right click on LongPathsEnabled, select modify, and set the Value data to 1.
