Downloading a Facebook page as evidence

Social media is increasingly used as evidence in litigation. Note that Facebook providers its users with a way to download a copy of their pages. Go to the right of the global icon and the right of privacy shortcut icon and click on the drop down icon. Then select 'Settings'.

. . . then click on the 'Download a copy of your Facebook data.' link at the bottom. You'll be taken to a page entitled 'Download Your Information'. Click on the green button 'Download Archive'. When the download completes you'll be emailed a link to a zip with an archive containing html files, and all of the images and videos you have uploaded to Facebook.
