Lexis LAW PreDiscovery - Coding

Lexis LAW contains an option to automatically advance to the next document after you have completed coding for the current document. See the check box under Tools . . Options.

You can also change the field that you begin in each time a new document is advanced to. See Index . . . Default Field . . .

It can also batch code multiple documents. In the document list below the coding form on the Index tab you can select multiple documents. Then when you change the entry in one field and click the Update button, the Batch Update utility will open allowing you to confirm the field you want to batch update.

In the Grid View if you click on the Batch Update Button

. . . and then chose the field you want to batch update and the value you want enter. Obviously you'd generally run a search for specific documents before running the Batch Update utility.
